David Joyce - it’s all Irish to me

Dubliner David Joyce is one of those special people, who come to the Philippines for technical diving and never want to leave. After travelling via South Africa and Indonesia to get here, he finally relaxed, and said something along the lines of “At the end of the day, this is just what I was looking for”. David got in touch with Matt and Triton Technical Diving via the internet and was so impressed with the site that he couldn't hold back.

Signed up for the Advanced Nitrox/Deco Pro class, David soon found he was addicted to the tech diving in this part of Asia and got busy with more diving. After a short trip back to the Green Isle, he was soon in Dauin again taking Extended Range and Trimix classes, and doing some different dives with Matt to the Labanig pinnacle in the Cebu channel.

As an avid photographer David joined Matt on some shallower, but loooooong photo dives at the local coastal sites. The pair snapped up ghost pipefish, shrimp, anemone fish and porcelain crabs, as well as Davids favorite of the Wonderpuss. More photos to come soon...
